ABS SLUDGEZAP 1 Sludge Digestor Septic Tanks and Soil 2KG
- Being completely free from pathogens, chemicals, biocides, bleaches, and non-synthetic enzymes.
- No COSHH or PPE is required to use or handle the products.
- We use specifically formulated bacteria to digest uric deposits and bactophiles to breakdown limescale build-up.
Urine precipitates uric acid which combines with struvite (‘urine stone’), limescale and potassium phosphate, creating a hard, scale-like deposit that impedes flow, blocks pipes and can result in unsightly facilities and persistent, unpleasant odours. Often not fully evident until the problem is serious, it impacts negatively on users and cleaning staff and can necessitate costly infrastructure replacement, particularly in waterless urinals. Current mitigation solutions rely on a cocktail of caustic chemicals such as Unpleasant odour from pipework, blocked WCs and soil pipes, and overflowing septic tanks are not only inconvenient and costly, they are also a potential health risk. Build-up of limescale and organic matter, combined with excessive paper loads and the disposal of sanitary products, can frequently clog up waste systems. This results in the need for coring, which often presents access difficulties and causes loud noise, often at anti-social hours, whilst causing mechanical damage to assets.
Blockages often require specialist treatment, and odours they cause are hard to isolate, creating unpleasant atmospheres in throughways. Moreover, discharge from soil systems, septic tanks and ‘Klargesters’ is prohibited under environmental regulations. As a result, conventional remedial approaches typically rely on powerful – often toxic – chemicals or abrasive flushing. These not only damage ageing infrastructure, they also decimate the very microorganism communities that digest waste deposited in septic tanks and pipework. Besides, the unpleasant odours very quickly return.
SLUDGEZAP 1 contains billions of carefully cultivated bacteria that will not only clear the blockage, but also enhances digestion in septic tanks and optimises the microorganism communities in ‘Klargesters’. Depending on the state of the system an initial deep clean may required. After this regular weekly dosing of each utility (WC, sink or shower) is sufficient to digest all incoming organic deposits and keep the entire system blockage and trouble-free.
