  2. Cleanline Trigger Bottles

Our Cleanline product labels were recently updated to the latest regulations, and now our printed-film-wrapped trigger spray bottles are made entirely from post-consumer recycled plastic (rPET), sourced from the UK. Our ready-to-use trigger spray bottles are made from 100% recycled materials and are 100% recyclable - including the trigger head!

A paper label is commonly perceived as the most environmentally friendly way to label a product. This is often not the case as there are several variables to consider throughout the label’s lifetime. Over the last few years, major Blue-Chip brands across all categories, including food and household, have moved to PET-sleeved products; not because PET sleeving is cheaper than labels, as it invariably isn't, but because it has numerous benefits over paper, including the ability to be recycled.

  • PET shrink film is 100% recyclable even with ink on.
  • No adhesive or glue - This ability to separate the two components allows both sleeve and bottle to be recycled and re-used easily.
  • No chemical separation process involved in removal.
  • A shrink film often has perforations making it easy to remove by the consumer, so the sleeve and bottle can be pre-separated.
  • Shrink sleeve when separated is reprocessed into “Jazz” which is pellets that can be made into other products. There are numerous uses which ensures the sleeve is re-used and prevents it being a single-use plastic.
  • The Cleanline trigger spray shrink film weighs less than 1g.

  • Use chemical glue to affix.
  • Cleanline trigger bottles are made from recyclable plastic and are designed to be easy to remove.
  • Requires chemical separation process for removal.
  • Some labels will leave torn paper and glue residue on plastic which is problematic to remove.
  • Removed labels are often not recycled and simply sent to landfill.
  • Paper can contaminate the recycle process.

Not only is the Cleanline Trigger Bottle 100% recycled, but the trigger spray heads no longer contain metal components, meaning the entire bottle is 100% recyclable, spray head and all. The clear trigger heads can be fully recycled and the resulting 'chipped' plastic can be used in the manufacture of new products. The adjustable trigger head with a twist nozzle to give fine mist or full stream can be used with ease and comes in different colours to help comply with HACCP colour-coding regulations.
